Discovering the Light
Acrylic painting (46×61 cm) of a daisy from my garden. last spring.
I was inspired by the way the petals caught the sun and I’ve tried to capture this with broad loose brush strokes to retain the freshness and immediacy of the light and the emergence of the flower from its dark surroundings.
